Rosemary Focaccia Bread

Rosemary Focaccia Bread

So simple, so delicious, and your house smells like a bakery! We stood over the pan shoveling it in our faces fresh and hot out of the oven.

Add your package of active, dry yeast to 1.5 cups of warm water, 2 tsp sugar, and 3 tbsp olive oil. Let it sit and bloom for 5 minutes. It will start smelling like yeast bread and get frothy and foamy. Then add your dry ingredients: 1.5 tsp salt, 1 tbsp rosemary, 1 tbsp garlic powder, and 3.5 cups AP flour. Mix with dough hook for 1 minute. Add olive oil to your pan and add your dough. Cover with saran wrap and let sit for an hour.

Uncover after an hour, poke holes with your fingers cause we all love to play with our food! Add 1 tsp salt on top, more rosemary and olive oil. Bake for 35-40 minutes at 375 degrees until golden.
