Chocolate Lasagna
4 simple layers! Cream, crunchy, chocolatey, heavenly…
Crust 1: Add butter to Oreos and press down into a 9x13 pan
1 package Oreos (give or take the 2 I shoved in my mouth)
6 oz butter
Layer 2: Vanilla Cream Cheese
Combine 1 block of room temp cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp (about) vanilla
then fold in 8 oz tub of Cool Whip
spread vanilla layer over crust and throw in the freezer while you make the chocolate layer
Layer 3: Chocolate
Combine 2 small packages of Instant Chocolate Pudding (I believe 3.9 oz packages)
2 cups whole milk
1.5 cups of heavy whipping cream
Then, fold in 1 cup of cool whip
Layer 4: Whipped Topping with Chocolate
Add a dash of vanilla to your leftover tub of cool whip (we borrowed 1 cup for layer 3 ) and spread over chocolate layer
for a nice crunch and a pretty presentation, add mini chocolate chips.
Let this have time to set up in the fridge for at least an hour or two before serving to guests. I made mine 2 days in advance and it was perfect!!!
