Candied Bacon Bark

Simple, sweet, spicy, salty and crunchy….what a magical combination!

Dip each piece of thick cut bacon and coat well. Remove excess glaze and add to your rack. I like to add extra black pepper on top. Sometimes I add cayenne for a little kick! Cook in preheated 325 degree oven for 33-37 minutes. Turn the pan after 15 minutes.

Mix together your glaze:

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 10 turns of freshly cracked black pepper

  • dash of salt

  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

  • 2-3 tbsp water
