Zucchini and Squash Tart

Thinly sliced:

  • 1 onion

  • 3-4 zucchini

  • 3-4 squash

Saute these veggies with 2 tbsp butter

  • 1 tsp salt,

  • 1 tsp pepper

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tbsp all purpose seasoning- Mrs. Dash Original

    Drain

  • Add 7.5 oz. Chive and Onion cream cheese

  • and 8 oz. regular cream cheese

  • Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry - 2 sheets

    Set out at room temperature for 40 minutes

    Add: The veggie mix to the puff pastry and leave a 1 inch border.

  • Top with parmesean and sliced provolone

  • Egg wash: 1 tbsp water and 1 egg

  • Add 2nd puff pastry sheet on top of veggie mix.

  • Brush egg wash ( 1 egg and 1 tbsp water) on seams of puff pastry. Press together and crimp with a fork.

  • Brush egg wash on top of pastry.

  • Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes

    I like to top mine with:

  • Freshly grated parmesan and a sprinkle of salt
