Bacon Cheese Ring
One ring to rule them all! This is such a showstopper recipe, and people never fail to absolutely lose their minds. I have served this dish over a twenty year span at weddings, sports events, parties, baby/wedding showers, and it is a requirement for my family at every single holiday. Just change up the mold to fit your situation, but a bundt cake pan mold is perfect for every occasion.
Cook your package of bacon, and the rest is just mixing together!
Line your bundt pan with saran wrap and add 1/2 package of crumbled bacon, 2 cups of pecans chopped, and 1 bundle of green onion.
To your bowl add:
1 package cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
1 cup mayo
1 tbsp bacon grease
4 cups mozzarella
4 cups cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp salt; 1/2 tsp pepper; 1 tsp each of garlic/onion powder
1 bundle of green onions
1/2 package of bacon
Mix well and add to bundt pan lined with green onions, bacon and nuts. Fully cover with saran wrap and let it set up in the fridge for a few hours, but I prefer overnight. After you unmold and remove wrap, fill the interior with strawberry jam and serve with wheat thins.
